Hi Team,

Good day.

My customer is looking for a C project for CCS to create an IoT application for the AM3358 processor. We already checked the TIDEP0084 however, there isn’t any reference on how to develop an IoT project starting from the source code. Also checked some e2e post, unfortunately, there isn’t any recipe to design an IoT project with BBB.

Thanks for the interest to this matter.

As Renan describes in the top of this thread, I’m looking for a C example project about an IoT application on AM3358 processor.

I have started from the Sub-1 GHz Sensor to Cloud demo ( https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDEP0084 ). In this demo it’s enough to copy the demonstration software in the several boards and then run the example applications. However there isn’t any reference how develop an IoT project starting from the source code.

I would know if it is available a C project for CCS from which I can start to create an IoT application for the AM3358 processor (BeagleBone Black or AM335x Starter Kit).

Hello Ma2teo,

That reference design you are pointing to is an IoT project developed mostly in C and running on the Beaglebone black. It is composed of various programs, and the upper layer ones used to display information use NodeJS and basic HTML to display.

I do recommend you start from the official-most up to date SDK https://www.ti.com/tool/TI-15.4-STACK-GATEWAY-LINUX-SDK. This includes all of the source code needed to create your application, alongside some examples you can use as a starting point.
