Hi,

There is only a maximum case temperature mentioned in the datasheet, what is the maximum junction temperature value ?

    Swadish,

    Maximum case temperature is the rating provided as it can be measured accurately.  There is no way to measure the junction temperature accurately.  Also, for multi-core devices, the temperature in the die will not be uniform.  You can use the THETA-JC value and the maximum current from the power estimation tool to calculate an estimate of the maximum junction temperature.  It will only be a few degrees C above the case temperature assuming the heat is being dissipated through the lid.
