AM3357: Known Issues PINDSW-47 and PINDSW-141 of PRU-ICSS EtherCAT Slave Software

Part Number: AM3357

Hi,

The customer has some questions about the PINDSW-47 and PINDSW-141 in 1.2.5.7 Known Issues of PRU-ICSS EtherCAT Slave Software Release Note.

https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-industrial-sw/esd/docs/indsw/EtherCAT_Slave/01_00_08/PRU_ICSS_EtherCAT_Release_Notes.html#known-issues

They found the detail info. of these known issues below.

https://processors.wiki.ti.com/images/0/05/EtherCAT_Slave_Errata_PINDSW_01_00_07.pdf

It describes the PINDSW-47 about single datagram accessing multiple FMMU mapped areas.

Is this setting to use multiple FMMU configured by slave side ? or master side ( ENI ) ?

If it’s by master side, they have to describe it in the user manual of their master product.

Regarding PINDSW-141,

Could you tell them what kind of data “non-interleaved input and output process data of multiple slaves” is ?

And, the situation of this PINDSW-141 looks same as that of PINDSW-47. What’s difference ?

Thanks and regards,

Hideaki
