TDA4VM: Secure AP Command Interface

Dear expert,

I am helping our customer to understand "Secure AP Command Interface".

Since JTAG is closed on HS devices, we need to open it through some interface.

1. Is Secure AP command interface a physical interface or a software interface?

2. If the software is out of control, how to enable JTAG?

    ZM,

    The Secure AP communication is done over the JTAG interface from the debugger to the system firmware directly through the emulation driver.

    The Secure AP relies on the system firmware staying active within the DMSC. If the application(s) running on other cores in the SoC are failed, communication to the DMSC is still possible, and a secure JTAG session initiated.
