My customer is trying to boot from NOR FLASH under the following conditions,
but it is failing to BOOT.
Conditions：
-Set SYSBOOT[4:0]=00101b by external pull-up/down.
-Address and data pin assignments are as follows.
a[11:0] -> gpmc_a[11:0]
a[19:12] →dss_data[15:8]
a[23:20] →mmc0_dat[0:3]
a24 →mmc0_dat[0:3]
a25 → mmc0_cmd
d[15:0] → gpmc_ad[15:0]
Status:
-If you initialize GPMC from ICE, you can start from FLASH.
-If the power is turned on without ICE, it is possible to start from FLASH.
-A12 to A27 are fixed at the low level and only 2K data can be read.
Questions
1. is there anything missing in the procedure to boot from NOR FLASH?
2. the AM335x manual states the following, does the same thing happen with the AM4372?
