Hello Danilo,
It looks like AM437x is compatible with EnDat. Please see Industrial Communication Protocols Supported on Sitara Processors.
I have reassigned this to another engineer to comment on slave vs master.
Regards,
Nick
Hi Danilo,
As Nick mentioned, the AM437x is compatible with Endat. Currently only Endat master is supported on the PRU-ICSS industrial SW package, please refer to
AM437x processor is capable of supporting Endat slave though. Customers need to design his own PRU-ICSS firmware and related driver.

Garrett
Hi Garrett,
Thank you for the clarification. If the customer will create his own PRU-ICSS firmware and related driver, can he use the TMDXSK437X for EnDat slave or he needs to modify the hardware?
Regards,
Danilo
Danilo,
I don't think he need hardware modification with the TMDXSK437X for EnDat slave.
Regards,
Garrett
Hi Garret,
Thank you for the confirmation that the TMDXSK437X don't need hardware modification if it will be use for EnDat slave application .

Danilo
