TDA2SX: How to set up Mcspi_spi1tospi2 demo in PDK example?

Hi TI expert.

we need set up mcspi slave demo on J6 EVM firstly to help customer to check the issue on their board. McSPI works in slave mode and EDMA can not work.

the VSDK version 03.08 used.

File-path: ti_components\drivers\pdk_xx_xx_xx_xx\packages\ti\drv\bsp_lld\mcspi\examples\mcspi_spi1tospi2\src\mcspiSample_main.c

Now I have J6 EVM version H in hand. would you please guide me to set up this example on it? actually how to connect SPI1 and SPI2?

1. I found there is no test point for SPI1 and SP2. it is very hard to weld SPI1 (SCLK/CS0/D0/D1) to SPI2.

2 I have JARM3 EVM version B. But I found there is also no test point for SPI[2]_SCLK/CS[0]n/MISO/MOSI signal.

Hi Yong,

On TI EVM there is nothing connected on the McSPI lines.

So to test the peripheral we connected the SPI1 and SPI2 pins externally

Yes, it is difficult to solder and connect the lines but this was the best we could do on the EVM

one more question, when you said "connected SPI1 and SPI2 externally", does it mean that I need two EVMs and connect SPI1 of first one to SPI2 of second one?

And would you please share me which points are the best and easiest to solder on EVM, such as which resistor or other components?
