AM5748: Custom board pinmux rebuild

Part Number: AM5748

Hi

Im using TQ's MBa57xx card and for the i need to change pinmux from tose used in TI's idk. With the manuals  https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sprac44a/sprac44a.pdf and http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_board.html

  • Hi

For some reason the forum did only posti small part of the guestion so here is the rest:

with the manuals mentioned (later one used thought waybackmachine as your sit has been down since 17.9.2020) i got information that i need to change four files on the folder ..\ti\pdk_am57xx_1_0_17\packages\ti\board\src and rebuild the project. Anyhow i have not been able to find instructions for the rebuilding itself.

I using TQ's TQMa57xx board and it uses different pinmux compared to idkAM574x and therefore i need to change that.

Id like to use the examples which can be build with the pdk. Is there any changes i need to make to those after compiling the new board support library or should they work with new pinmux just after compiling the new libruary replacing the idkAM574x library.

    Best regards

  • Hi Tommi,

I think you should try to explain your question again.

    1. It is really not clear to us what the TQ's MBA57xxcard is referring to.
    2. What version of the SDK you are using as the starting point.
    3. Please describe in detail what is the end goal
    4. And also describe in more detail about the problem statement.

    Regards

    Karthik
