TMDSIDK574: Reason why TMDSIDK574 works with OPP_NOM by Default

Hello,

I would like to run OPP_HIGH with TMDSIDK574.

But in default, I know the voltage of PMIC for TMDSIDK574 is set for OPP_NOM.

Are there any reason why TMDSIDK574 works with OPP_NOM by Default?

Could you tell me how to configure PMIC voltage for OPP_HIGH?

Hi U-SK,

The power consumption is higher and the other reason i can think of is due the heat it can generate but
all that said OTP one time programmed voltages are by default for OPP_NOM.

There is a patch on DRA7.

Hi U-SK,

When you build bootloader, SBL, you can specify which opp you want to run at.

If you build SBL with option OPPMODE=opp_high, SBL will configure PMIC to OPP High voltage.
