Hi Karthikeyan,
It's not clear what you have already--but to begin debugging via JTAG you will need:
1] A debugger such as the CCS IDE : https://www.ti.com/tool/download/CCSTUDIO
and
2] A debug probe that connects your development system to the target via JTAG (see debug probe section at end): https://www.ti.com/design-resources/embedded-development/ccs-development-tools.html . If you don't already have an XDS debug probe, and if your target board doesn't include an embedded one, I would recommend the XDS110 as an entry level option.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the info. We are working on a Custom hardware based on AM5729 and thinking about prototyping it. We wanted to test our board to make sure that everything works fine and JTAG would be great options but we didnt know what are the options and where to start ?
Thanks,
Karthik
Hi Karthik,
You might already be aware of the AM57xx Hardware Design Guide ( https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/sprack1 ). Section 10 of this document provides some tips including a reminder about hooking up RTCK, links to the Emulation and Trace Headers Technical Reference Manual, and a link to an EVM page that includes schematics.
If you are looking for something else then please let me know.
thanks,
