AM5708: AM5708 SPL(MLO) setting

Hi Expert,

I can see the error log "nvalid bus 2 (err=-19" from the SPL log

When enable "#define DEBUG", I can see the below log:

uclass_find_device_by_seq: 0 2
malloc_simple: size=18, ptr=588, limit=100000: 81f00570
- not found
uclass_find_device_by_seq: 1 2
- not found
Invalid bus 2 (err=-19)
Error using spi_get_bus_and_cs
load uboot from FAT fs...

I doubt that SPL device tree setting is not correct,

Could you help me to correct this error? Or tell me where is the device tree setting for SPL

Hi Daniel,

May i know if you are using the default boot loaders from the SDK or you have a custom binary?
Also is it your custom board or a TI AM5708-IDK?

I see u-boot is 2018 based. Can you migrate to the latest SDK here: http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-linux/esd/AM57X/latest/index_FDS.html

Build from TI PSDK 5.3.0.7, custom board.

PSDK 5.3.0.7 device tree setting for SPL is differ from the latest SDK 06_03_00_106?

Hi Daniel,

Yes it will be different with next 2019 branch of u-boot. So first try with the latest SDK default binaries
& then let me know if you are unable to boot.
