Part Number: STARTERWARE-SITARA

I am using starterware C files with AM335x EVM board to communicate via UART4. We need to use 2 different UART.

We decided to use UART4 as profile 2 is only profile which is supporting CAN and 2 different UART.

We first configured L3 and L4 interface clock and then pins are multiplexed and baud rate and interrupt were set.

Please help.

Thank you so much for your reply.

The issue has been resolved. I have not enabled UART4 module that's why it was not sending or receiving anything.

Now I am facing another issue. At high speed (460.8 kbps) UART4 is not able to send data effectively. At receiver side I am receiving corrupted data.

Please help me with this.

Hi Lali,

No, I am using FIFO. The issue is with FIFO configuration. If I configure FIFO with 1 byte trigger level then it works properly.

If I configure FIFO with more than 9 byte of trigger level then it doesn't work.
