Compiler/DRA745: Webengine browser

I'm trying to integrate the Qtwebbrowser in the dra7xx sdk yocto image (PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AUTOMOTIVE 6_00_00_03) for jacinto6.

The qtwebbrowser is successfully integrated in the sdk image, but when i run it , i get this error:

1447:1469:0312/182406.754191:ERROR:gl_surface_qt.cpp(296)] eglCreatePbufferSurface failed and surfaceless context not available
[1447:1469:0312/182406.754226:ERROR:gl_surface_qt.cpp(303)] Requested OpenGL implementation is not supported. Implementation: 0

have you any idea about this error.

Hi Faidi,

Do you any sample application which uses eglCreatePbufferSurface ()?

I don't have a ready application with this openGL call.

I think the qtwebbrowser uses the

eglCreatePbufferSurface.

But when I add - -disable-gpu option, the browser run without error.

Faidi,

The `--disable-gpu` option is disabling the gpu rendering path and enforcing the software rendering. What version of qtwebversion are you trying to integrate here?

Hi Gowtham

I try to integrate the qtwebbrowser using the qt version 5.11.3 and without disabling the gpu hardware accelerator.

The qtwebbrowser is successfully integrated in the sdk version 6.003 of the ti dra7xx board but without --disable-gpu option the browser does not work.

Hi Faidi,

I don't think TI has any sample application to test eglCreatePbufferSurface() API.

Do you have any sample application which uses this API? Please confirm it has worked.
