What register in the J7 processor can I check to measure the pixel clock frequency that is sent out over eDP?
I have tried using these registers to obtain the measured value of the clock but they are all showing zero:
EDP_CORE_NMVID_MEAS_P(0x0a000a38) == 0
EDP_CORE_NMVID_MEAS_P_0(0x0a000A78) == 0
EDP_CORE_NMVID_MEAS_P_1(0x0a000AB8) == 0
EDP_CORE_NMVID_MEAS_P_2(0x0a000AF8) == 0
Also any other registers to monitor the video timing data sent over the eDP would be helpful.
Thanks!
is there a register that shows the value of these clocks received by EDP0?
EDP_DPI_2_CLK
EDP_DPI_2_2X_CLK
EDP_DPI_3_CLK
EDP_DPI_4_CLK
EDP_DPI_5_CLK
Hi Bill,
I am sorry could you help me understand why you want to measure eDP pixel clock? it is a serial interface.

Brijesh
Also if i understand correctly, eDP works on one screen, but does not work on other screen, is it correct?
Are both the screens same? If not, please take care of changing different specific parameters/pixel clock in vision apps.

I'm not using "vision apps"
Brijesh -- they're trying to determine the speed of these internal clocks (not the serdes clock):
Hi Brad, Bill,
But these clocks are generated from the PLL, so these are internal to the SoC. i am not sure if there is any way to bring these clocks out and probe them.
Regads,
