AFE7422EVM: Every time after send signal, I need to manually force a handshake of JESD204B.

I use the TSW14J57 rev E work with AFE7422EVM. I need to send a signal,and then capture another signal.

It should run continuously ，I use Matlab to control the process， refer to TSW14J57_PingPong_Example.m .

After send signal, I can not see signal in spectrum analyzer，I need to stop the code after send signal，and then

do as the pdf .

Then the matlab code can not run continuously. Do you have any way,let it works continuously. and I dont need to manually force a handshake of JESD204B.

Hi Li Yang,

Looks like you missed attaching the 'TSW14J57_PingPong_Example.m' file.

TSW14J57EVM has some known issues when running in transceiver mode. We will send detailed steps of workaround for this issue tomorrow.

If your lane rate is less than 10Gbps, you can use TSW14J56EVM instead. You won't face this issue on that EVM.

Here are the instructions on how to use the TSW14J57 with the AFE7422EVM. This will allow you to send and capture data without affecting the DAC link.

AFE74xx_TX_Mode3_XCVR.rar

Hi David Chaparro,

It works in Mode4,but it does not work in Mode3. I send signal using config file 'AFE74xx_TX_Mode3'，then resync DAC chain. I can see signal in spectrum analyzer. Then I select 'AFE74xx_TX_Mode3_XCVR',send signal, signal disapper . I need to resync DAC chain. I do the same opration in Mode4, has no this problem.

Hi Yang,

We could reproduce the same issue in our lab. We are checking with our FPGA firmware team to see if there's a fix for this. Will let you know what we hear from them.
