LMX8410L: Close to DC Baseband performances (noise figure)

Part Number: LMX8410L

Hello,

in a very narrowband application working at RF 10 GHz, I would like to downconvert a signal having a relevant content at very low baseband frequencies (100 Hz to 500 kHz) . Unfortunately I was not able to find in the data sheet Noise figure measurements  for baseband frequencies below 100 MHz. Would it be possible to have a deeper insight of this part performances for close to DC baseband frequencies? In case the part will be used at 10.4 GHz are there available graph or should I simply add  a small degradation (1 dB?) degradation to your figures taken at 10 GHz?

Thanks.

Luca

  • Hi Luca,

LMX8410L has validated the noise figure till 10MHz down IF frequency (not below that), which is ~1.5dB degrade than the 100MHz specs for 10 GHz RF frequency. If you would need further below, I would be suggesting to order an LMX8410L EVM and can validate it for your required frequencies.

    Thanks!
