Measuring the return loss of the RF output of the TRF370417 evaluation board it appears to be less than 5dB from 4GHz and higher. In fact it's less than 2dB at 5.5GHz. This is only when the 5VDC is supplied to the board. It looks much better when the DC supply is OFF. There's some issue with the output buffer by the look of it.
Does TI have S-parameters of this port without the series capacitor that I could use to try to improve the 50 ohm match of this output?
