AFE7900EVM: Compatibility with TSW14J57EVM

Hi,

Me and my team are very interested in pairing the TSW14J57EVM with the AFE7900EVM, from what I can understand from other posts here they should be compatible, however comparing the BOMs the TSW14J57EVM uses a 560 pin FMC connector and the AFE7900EVM a 400 pin connector. Are they still compatible, or is some kind of adapter board needed?

    Hi Simon,

    The FMC+ connector, which is on the TSW14J57, is backwards compatible with the FMC connector on the AFE7900EVM. These two boards are compatible with each other and can be directly connected together.
