AFE8000EVM: Bring up with TSW14J58EVM

I was trying to bring up the device with the TSW14J58EVM FPGA within the AFE80xx CAT software. The device was detected and connected within the software but after I loaded the parameters and clicked ''Device Bringup" I was met with the following errors. 

  • Failure to reset the FPGA PIN. ERROR LINE: “Reset FPGA and try again”
  • Failure to establish Rx Lanes. ERROR LINE:  “Couldn’t get Linkup for device Rx:0 & Rx:1”

    Hi Sean,

    There are a couple of things that could be the issue. Please check the following things:

    1. Can you check that the TSW14J58EVM is powered by a power supply capable of 5V, 5A? 
    2. If this issue continously occurs then the problem may be the firmware on the TSW14J58. To reload the JESD204C firmware you can follow the instructions available in the AFE8xxx Secure Folder, TSW14J58EVM_JESD204C_Firmware_EEPROM_Programming.
