Transient/ESD Protection of RF Input Circuits

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPD1E01B04, ESD341

There are so many choices for protection devices that I hope to save some time by asking for advice.

My application is a receiver input circuit with 50 ohm impedance. The highest operating frequency range is 3 to 100 MHz. There are no specific IEC requirements.

The input circuit uses a bias-tee to supply 15 Vdc to the upstream low noise amplifier. The bias-tee is isolated from the protection circuit with a 047 uF capacitor.

The first downstream device from the protection circuit is a digital step attenuator that operates with Vdd = 3.3 V. The RF input of the attenuator is isolated from the protection circuit by a 0.47 uF capacitor.

What are recommended devices for this configuration?
