I am trying to bringup the repeater mode of AFE7700 EVM. Can you please share the design mentioned in the comment below

Hi Vijay,

Thanks for providing access to the script. After following the sequence mentioned below, I am observing a few errors in the log window

I have executed the latte scripts in the order of setup.py, devInit.py, and Bringup_repeaterMode.py. I saw a few failures in the log. How do I know that the repeater mode is working from this? (Providing the screenshot of the log for your reference)

In one of the queries posted for a similar problem (Link to the query: AFE7700EVM: Sequence to set Internal loopback for digital data and check patterns generator & checker - RF & microwave forum - RF & microwave - TI E2E support forums), there was another script called HW_RST.py that you suggested to use. Could you provide that also please

Hi Jaswanth,

As mentioned in the e2e post you were referring to, if AFE is configured as expected, at the end of the log, you should get expected CS and FS state as below for both DAC JESD-RX 0 and DAC JESD-RX 1 link Status:

CS State TX0: 0b00001010 . It is expected to be 0b00001010
FS State TX0: 0b00000101 . It is expected to be 0b00000101

Other JESD errors can be ignored.

But I see that you get "SPI not working" error. This can happen if AFE is not hardware reset after powering up the EVM.

Please update to latest version of software by following instructions from Latte_Upgrade_Instructions.docx on secure folder (www.ti.com/mysecuresoftware).

The HW_RST.py script is available in updated software. SW1 button can also be pressed to hardware reset AFE in EVM instead of running this script.
