  • Hi Alder,

The AFE7769D EVM schematic link has been removed.  Per TI policy, EVM schematic information can only be shared via TI's mySecureServer.  Once you have TI.com login, I can grant you access.

  • Thank you Kevin.

There are multiple versions for the schematic, may i know the variant? Please share user guide as well.

How about AFE7768D information? Does TI (or TI partner) make any EVB for AFE7768D? Please share schematic too

    Thanks,
    Best regards,
    Alder

  • Hi Alder,

The AFE7769D IC is capable of operating at different frequency bands.  On the first page of our AFE7769D datasheet, feature section, we mentioned the RF frequency range is from 600MHz to 6GHz.  To achieve optimum performance at these frequency bands, a matching network is needed between the AFE7769D IC and the Tx, Rx and FB port.  Thats why you see the EVM schematics are named as 26EVM, LB, MB and 35EVM .  26 means 2.6GHz, 35 means 3.5GHz.  LB stands for low band, this is used for frequency<1GHz.  MB(mid band) is between 1.7-2.2GHz.

As for the user guide, we currently don't have one that we can release externally.  Is there any information regarding the EVM that you need in particular?

For information regarding AFE7768D, I will let our marketing engineer, Simran Nanda, to answer your question.

  • Hi Alder,

Thank you for reaching out. May I ask if there is a specific use case (frequency, bandwidth, etc.) in mind?

You can find information about the AFE7768D here. The listed datasheet will provide some basic information around the variants.

We only have evaluation modules (EVMs) for the AFE7769D -- at various bands as Kevin mentioned -- which accommodate all specifications of other variants from a frequency, channel, and bandwidth perspective.

Feel free to reach out if you have additional questions. Thank you!

    Best regards,

    Simran

  • Thank you Kevin clarify on those differences.

I have no further questions at the moment.

  • Thank you Simran and noted on AFE7769D.

We are collecting the requirement for this and didnt lock down the use case yet.

At this moments, i have no further questions.

    Thanks,
