Hello,
We have a project with AFE7950. Our frequency is from 9000 to 9500 MHz. We have receiver gain of 40 dB from the antenna to AFE7950. Is it good enough to use a balun (NCR2-123+) as shown below but with no R's or C's?
Also, could you explain the reason why the new evaluation board includes driver amplifier (TRF1208) at the RX inputs of AFE7950? Is that for different applications or improvement? If for improvement, which design is best for our frequency range?
