TRF3765 output channel isolation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TRF3765EVM

If three of the RF outputs are ON and the remaining output is turned OFF, how much isolation is there??   In other words, how much signal leaks through to the OFF channel??  We just need to know typically what this is.

Thanks,

  • Hello Johnathan,
I don't think we have that data, but most of the crosstalk is going to be from board/trace routing on your PCB. For example, I performed a quick measurement on the bench with the TRF3765EVM and the channel isolation was only about 20-40dB depending on which output I examined. Granted the outputs are routed very closely together and treated like single ended signals, so the board is more or less a prototype with performance sacrifices. With careful routing I would expect much better performance, but I don't think we have a number we can provide.
