Hello,

I have installed the GUI but there is an error 8 at initial launch of the GUI. Do I need labview installed in order to run this TSW3065EVM GUI?

The error is :

Error 8 occured at Open/Create/Replace File in Config Data Write to File.vi->Close COnfig Data.vi->TSW3065 GUI.lvlib:TSW3065 GUI-Read-Write Config.vi->TSW3065 GUI.lvlib:TSW3065 GUI.vi

Possible Reaons(s):

LabVIEW: File permission error. You do not have the correct permissions for the file

C:\Program File (x86)\TI\TI\TSW3065 GUI\TSW3065 GUI.ini

Could someone let me know why I am getting this error and how to fix it? Currently I do not have labView installed on this computer. Thanks

    Hi Florence

    Please try running the GUI as an administrator. That should give the program the needed permission to write the .ini file.

    Right click on the program name and then choose "Run as administrator".

    Let me know if that resolves the error.
