I intend to buy the ADS54J60EVM. However, I'm not sure if that ADC board is fully compatible with an RF detector from thorlabs (the PDB480C-AC), this because the RF signal at detector output that will be connect to the ADS54J60EVM is an AC signal with voltage ranging from -1V to +1V approximately.
The ADS54J60EVM board is able to discretize an RF AC-Signal with negative voltages?
This should be no problem as the analog inputs are AC coupled and the device has internally biasing to a common mode voltage of 2V . You may have to add some attenuation as the recommended maximum input for these pins is 1.9V p-p differential or 0.95V per pin.
No, it is not. You will need either the TSW14J56EVM, the TSW14J57EVM or the TSW14J50EVM. These are the three capture cards that have JESD204B capability.
The TSW1400EVM only supports CMOS and LVDS interfaces. With all of these boards, software is included (HSDC Pro Software GUI) and you can import data into MATLAB.
The TSW14J50EVM connects to the PC via USB 2.0, right?
In that case, and considering that I'm using the ADS54J60EVM, the ADC data acquisition is much higher than the download data from usb connection between the TSW14J50EV and the PC, how can I download the data in an almost real-time between the TSW14J50EV and the PC?
