My question concerns complex sampling using the AFE79xx. If I want to still have 4-channels of 3 GSPS RX sampling but complex, can I use 2 4-channel AFE79xxs to accomplish this? If so, do you have some information on how to set this up? Also, is it necessary to provide I/Q input (ex. using a quadrature LO), or can the AFE be setup so that one channel is real and the other is imaginary with both being fed from he same antenna.
I apologize if the answers to this are obvious - I'm still just coming up to speed on things.
