TRF370417: Baseband Voltage vs RF Output Power

Hello Ti,

In TRF370417 datasheet, We can see Baseband Voltage vs RF Output Power graph in figure 1.

This graph shows result only upto -15dBm RF output power.

Can we have graph for Baseband Voltage vs RF Output Power till -50dBm RF output power?

Our system as a wide dynamic range +5dBm to -45dBm. So this graph will help us in designing a system.

Hey Pradeep,

Since the graph is fairly linear you can predict its behavior at lower Vbb's. The slope will more or less remain constant.

Hello ,

Graph is linear. For which I agree.

My doubt is, Just like any other mixer, will this IQ mixer can take very low Baseband signals?

Like if Vbb is in Microvolts, will this chip able to produce RF frequency at required power level?

Hey Pradeep,

The device does not support base band signals in the microvolts range.
