Will the magnet be approaching the side of the package (parallel to the board) or the top of the package (perpendicular to the board?) It is intended to be the top of the sot23 package. Please confirm and I'll review further.

Hello Jason,

The magnet will be approaching the side of the package. They have done test with their magnet. The sensing distance is acceptable for them.

Ting, the device rotation has no effect on magnetic sensitivity.
