DRV5053: DRV5053 vs DRV5055

Part Number: DRV5053
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5055

Dear Sir, Madam,

Please help to advise the difference between DRV5053 and DRV5055, analog bipolar vs ratiometric linear topology. Please share with me if there is any material.

Thank you very much.

  • Hi Hong,

The DRV5053 has an analog output with a fixed range of 0 V to 2 V, and the device can be powered from 2.5 V to 38 V. The DRV5055 analog output has a wider voltage swing from 0 V to Vcc, it is ratiometric to Vcc, many parameters are trimmed for high accuracy, and the device has temperature compensation for magnets.

    Best regards,
    RE
