HDC1080: Temp and humidity always read at 0xFFFF

Hello,

I am using HDC1080 with MICROCHIP PIC24FJ128 and I can read SERIAL ID, MANUFACTURER ID, DEVICE ID and Configuration register but Temp and Humidity are always at 0xFFFF even on power ON.

Please, do you have some ideas?
