Hello

I used mmWave_Demo_Visualizer 1.0.0 GUI to create the configuration file and send to the IWR1443BOOST using the COM port called CFG_port.

While the IWR1443BOOST running, I received the data generated by the demo on Data COM port via Tera term vt instead of Visualizer GUI .(shown in picture below)

question: How can I known detailed format of output packets with the detection information which are sent out every frame through the UART?

Hello

Power on the board---->send CLI command in configration file(or send command via mmWave_Demo_Visualizer )---->set Tera term port(baudrate：921600)

Yes of course. I tried to understand the source code of mmWave_Demo_Visualizer too but had many difficulties.

I think there have progress on recognizing the format of the data, for I have separated some strings according to my work.

Format in picture below may help you a lot, I think. (.......packages\ti\demo\xwr16xx\mmw\docs )

Could you please let me know if you have any progress on understanding the source code of mmWave_Demo_Visualizer ?

Hi bro, I have some idea to analyze the data. Can you tell me what is the version of your tetra term. My tetra term do not have the function to convert to Hex like you. What I'm using is called Serial-Port-Utility，which is similar to tetra term. You can download from( download.cnet.com/.../3000-2218_4-75879373.html). Two ports can be opened at the same time. (one to send, one to receive). Also, One version of it will be sent to your email.
