AWR1443: Sensor start failed and RF-runtime calibration error

Part Number: AWR1443

Hi,

We designed a customized board with AWR1443. But we got serveral errors when running xwr14xx demo project provided in mmwaveSDK (both v.01.00.00.05 and the latest version v1.01.00.02).

The result after loading demo project was (The left pic was a screenshot of mmwave demo visualizer tool, the right pic was CCS console window):

As seen in the above, we got error code -13021 when configuring mmwave control part.

We debuged and found the error related to mmwavelink driver issue. Then we tested the mmwavelink driver TEST project provided in mmwavesdk/packages/ti/control/mmwavelink/test/xwr14xx, we got the following:

From above, the clock, adcbuf, profile, chirp and frame config were both OK, while the RF run-time calibration config failed with error code 3.

As far as we knew, the RF-runtime calibration task was done by the radio-processor internally in awr1443, user couldn't program it directly.

So what will be the reasons related to the RF-runtime calibration issue ? Would someone provide some debug ideas ?

Thanks!
