IWR1443BOOST: 12xx_fr4_cz_lib worklib

Part Number: IWR1443BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1443, IWR1642, AWR1642, TIDA-01570

Dear,I have download the files (http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sprr253).When i open Database.7z with allegro, some errors report missing library.

I check the cds.lib and find the below text:

DEFINE 12xx_fr4_cz_lib worklib
INCLUDE $CONCEPT_INST_DIR/share/cdssetup/cds.lib
INCLUDE W:/ADW_Library/reflib/model_sym/cds.lib

Can you give me the library(W:/ADW_Library/reflib/model_sym/cds.lib)?

  • cds.lib - points to internal TI library files,

    DEFINE ti_socket ./ti_socket
    DEFINE ti_misc ./ti_misc
    DEFINE ti_template ./ti_template
    DEFINE ti_test_point ./ti_test_point
    DEFINE ti_connector ./ti_connector
    DEFINE ti_relay ./ti_relay
    DEFINE ti_contactor ./ti_contactor
    DEFINE ti_pcb_pattern ./ti_pcb_pattern
    DEFINE ti_switch ./ti_switch
    DEFINE ti_filter ./ti_filter
    DEFINE ti_ic ./ti_ic
    DEFINE ti_transistor ./ti_transistor
    DEFINE ti_transformer ./ti_transformer
    DEFINE ti_oscillator_crystal ./ti_oscillator_crystal
    DEFINE ti_discrete ./ti_discrete
    DEFINE ti_jumper ./ti_jumper
    DEFINE ti_led ./ti_led

I am asking for permission to send the library files. If you want to make progress, you would use a standard component libraray
for all but the IWR1443 device. All of the other devices, are stanadrd released part.

    Regards,
    Joe Quintal
  • Thanks,Joe Quintal.I hope you can get the permission to send the library files to me.Looking forward to your good news.
  • Hello,

We are not able to release the internal TI libraries, as these contain parts that are used for testing.  In talking with other application engineers, customers have

taken the Cadence package, and the Bill of materials, and cross referenced the TI specific parts to standard parts.   That is our recommendation for using the Cadence package.

As an alternate plan, we have a schematic and layout of the IWR1642 product that is being developed in Altium.  We could provide that within 2 weeks if that is useful.

We apologize the TI Cadence complete library is not available for your use.

    Regards,

  • Dear,
I want to know whether the IWR1642 product that is being developed in Altium is ready? The second question is whether AWR1642 can be replaced by IWR1642 in TI Designs: TIDA-01570 ?

    Best Regards

  • Hello
The Altium 1642 EVM package is being released in the 2nd quarter. The IWR1642 or AWR1642 have the same signalling. One of the differences is the testing temperature. The AWR devices are automotive qualified to 125C, while the IWR devices are industrial qualified to 105C.
