Hi sir,

I am using AWR1642 developed, and using XDS110 debug probe to replace TM4C1294 on AWR1642.

I updated XDS110 firmware and used XDS110 AUX connector UARTTX, UARTRX to flash AWR1642 (UniFlash).

And I could used XDS110 AUX UARTTX, UARTRX to send configuration to AWR1642 (mmW Demo Visualizer).

But I turn to Plots page, there are no data output.

I connected XDS110 expansion connector PIN17 (PC4) to EVM J5 connector PIN9 and expansion PIN25 (GND) connected to J5 PIN2.

I make sure J5 PIN9 sent out signal to XDS110, but I use Tera Term cannot not get anything also.

Then, how should I do to get mss_logger data by XDS110 debug probe?

I want to use XDS110 to configure AWR1642 and get data . Now, I can configure it, but cannot get data.

Hello,
In order to set the MSS-LOGGER signal on the J5 connector pin 9 , you need to install resister R26 (0 ohms) . Have you done that change on the board?

Hello,
If I understood your comment above, if you probe the J5 pin 9 you are able to see the UART TX activity on that pin (after running the OOB demo application). Is that correct?
I am not sure of if the XDS110 debug probe has the pin PC4 configured as GPIO or UART_RX. Could you check on this in the microcontrollers E2E forum?

Hi Vivek,
Maybe I misunderstand the pin PC4.
The question of my, when I insert xds110 debug probe by it USB, I could get two comports, one is "xds110 class application/user uart", and the other one is "xds110 class auxiliary data port". Now, I know that comport "user uart" is mapping to AUX connection pin 12 and pin 14. But, where is mapping to "xds110 class auxiliary data port"?

Hello,
The xds110 class auxiliary goes to the pin PC4 of the TIVA device , which is brought on the pin 17 of the expansion header.
But I am not sure of the PC4 pin of the XDS110 debug probe is configured to be a UART RX pin, this depends on the TIVA confirmation.

I would suggest getting this confirmation about PC4 pin configuration on the microcontrollere E2E forum.
