OPT8241 Software/Firmware Problem

 1)I might have accidentally deleted/overwrite OPT8241 firmware/software by downloading and installing OPT9221_0v23 and OPT9220_0v27 into OPT8241 using EEPROM Programmer in VoxelViewer 0.7.0. The OPT8241 ToF sensor could not be able to stream after that. Is there any other way to restore back the OPT 8241 ToF sensor software/firmware so that it could start streaming again?? I have tried various way and means such as downloading the FX2-OPT8241 firmware and hardware from www.ti.com/tool/opt8241-cdk-evm , reset the device but to no avail. Is there anyway to reboot/reformat the system back to normal?

2) Is there anyway to change the parameters? I realized that the camera work but couldn't stream due to the parameters after downloading the 2 programmes mentioned above.

3)Do I have to download 3D ToF System estimator tool?

4) I have used the Cypress USB 3.4.7 for its firmware but nothing happened.

I had reviewed other forums but am still feeling very lost and desperately needs help over here!! Thank you in advance!

    1) The OPT9221 firmware is available here:
    www.ti.com/.../sbac142

    Could you please attempt to reflash the OPT9221_0v23.tie file from this package using the EEPROM Programmer in VoxelViewer 0.7.0 and then power-cycle the CDK?

    If the OPT9221 successfully boots up, you will see the D3 LED glow blue.
    If this does not work, you have very likely bricked your CDK.

    2) The camera does not stream because you do not have proper OPT9221 firmware. There are no other parameters that control this.

    3) The 3D ToF System Estimator tool is a tool used to help design a new system and will not help you in recovering a bricked board.

    4) The Cypress USB 3.4.7 software is not necessary to reflash the CDK. Using VoxelViewer 0.7.0 should be enough.

    Hi Anand,

    1) OPT8241-CDK-EVM-D3 LED starts to glow blue after flashing it with the TIE file that you mentioned above in your reply (and of course power cycle it).but apparently it could not stream. it displays the following error messages on the logs box

    ("ERROR: USBIO: Control transfer issue")

    ("ERROR: VoxelUSBProgrammer:Could not read register for address 0x5c65")  ("ERROR: VoxelProgrammerBase:Could not read register for address 0x5c65") 

    ("ERROR: VoxelUSBProgrammer:Could not read register for address 0x5c66")  ("ERROR: VoxelProgrammerBase:Could not read register for address 0x5c66")

     ("ERROR: VoxelUSBProgrammer:Could not read register for address 0x5c61")  ("ERROR: VoxelProgrammerBase:Could not read register for address 0x5c61")

     ("ERROR: VoxelUSBProgrammer:Could not read register for address 0x4e04")  ("ERROR: VoxelProgrammerBase:Could not read register for address 0x4e04")
