OPT3002: End-of-convertion Mode and Low Limit register conflict

Hi everyone. I'm using OPT3002 and I have a doubt about the register configuration. In particular I want to use the End-of-convertion Mode and the Low Limit register. Is that possibile? I understand that if I want to use the End-of-convertion Mode I have to put LE[3:2] to 11b. So what about the Low limit register? Which is its value?

Hi Giuseppe,

I ran some tests on this and the low limit register does work when in end-of-conversion mode. Setting the LE field to 1111 gave fault low at the same value as 1011 so it may just limit you to using the 4 highest exponent values. However, I have forwarded this to our design team to double check this.

Confirmed that any exponent value greater than 1011 will be treated as 1011.
