OPT8241-CDK-EVM: Images in Voxel Viewports: how are they defined?

Part Number: OPT8241-CDK-EVM

Hi.

When my studying TOF with OPT8241-CDK-EVM, I got very basic question. (actually low level...)

I saw an explaination about phase & amplitude image on this E2E site. I understood....(actually I thought I understood.)

I understand how phase image is created. Simply It's from ratio between Tap A & Tap B in one pixel.

When I see chart for distortion(It has black & white rectangles...), suddenly I got curious of amplitude image.

At first time when I started TOF study,  I thought amplitude image is total sum of TAB A & TAB B.

If so, black & white rectangle shouldnot be distinguised. but on amplitude I can see black & white rectangle.

When assumed there is no ambient light, white & black rectangle on distortion chart have different reflectivity for 850nm Infrared?

If the way I understood is right, it's clear.

I don't not good at optical theory yet.

If someone can tell me I understand right or if how an amplitude image is created, it will be very helpful.

Thank you very much in advance.
