Linux/TDC7200: How to stretch the duration of TRIGGER?

Tool/software: Linux

I use TDC7200 to achieve LiDAR ,

The biggest problem is Trigger duration can not be stretch by any register,

In ny case, target distance is 1 meter to 50 meters,I use mode 1, single-cycle mode.

Due to trigger duration is about 33ns, my laser diode has insufficient power to long distance.(now is about 8 meters)

How to stretch the duration of Trigger enable?

Please let me know if the Trigger pin you are talking about is TRIGG in TDC7200 ?

Please refer to the LIDAR reference design in www.ti.com/.../tiducm1b.pdf to achieve LIDAR using TDC7200.

Hi Bharat,

yes, the trigger pin I am talking about is in TDC7200,

I achieve the trigger funcion by MCU,and the laser diode has sufficient power to long distance.

I'll check if the TOF measurement is working by using MCU to trigger.

We cannot increase the duration of the trigger(Trigg Pin).
