Hi,

I'm working with the AWR1843BOOST with a custom antenna array and I would like to use the traffic monitoring lab with my own virtual array antenna. How I can change the virtual array in the lab?

Is it a custom Tx/Rx configuration or completely separate antenna design?

Hi,

Yes, it is a custom Tx/Rx configuration. Our viritual array antenna is very similar to AWR1843AOP.

Hello,

In order to adapt the algorithm to the custom antenna please modify the angle of arrival algorithm to match your antennas array.

Please look at the OOB demo doxygen files to understand how the Angle is computed.

Please see mmWave training to understand the basics of Angle computation.
