DRV5053: propose the senor solution according the spec

Part Number: DRV5053
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV5032, OPT3004, OPT3001-Q1, OPT3006, OPT3007

Hi Team:

can you please help to propose  TI  Accelerometer, Hall sensor and ambient light  solutions per the following requirement, thanks!

  • Hello Richard,

Thanks for reaching out on the forum.  For our omnipolar devices 30 Gauss is the lowest typical operating point and is the typ value for the DRV5032. As for the release point, only a few have a typical value below 21 Gauss.  These options include the TMAG5123B, DRV5032FA, DRV5032FB, DRV5032FC, or the DRV5033FA.  However, only the DRV5032 variants will meet you power requirements.

As for the accelerometer, I dont think we actually make any. However we do make ambient light sensors, so Im forwarding your question to a representative of that team.

  • Hi,

I support our optical parts. Our family of OPT300x parts will hit these requirements. Our minimum resolution is 0.01 lux for these sensors.

    OPT3004 recommended for most solutions

    OPT3001-Q1 for automotive grade

OPT3007 (or OPT3006) for very space constrained applications using a flex PCB and where very small overall height is required.

Half power angle of all these is >45 degrees except for OPT3006/7 which is 44 degrees.

    Best,

    Alex
