LDC2112: LDC2112 baseline tracking question

Hi TI,

We use LDC2112 as touch button application.

At beginning, our LP_BASE_INC(0x15) setting is b011(base on the LDC2112 config tool).

How about if we set BINC like LP_BASE_INC to maximum as b111?Does it has other side effects or anything that needs attention?

Hello Scott,

The Baseline Increment setting changes how fast the baseline will adjust to changes in the data. This is helpful for changes in temperature of the device but can impact the button functionality in certain cases. The LDC211x and LDC3114 Internal Algorithm Functionality (Rev. A) app note has more information about the baseline increment in section 5.1 as well as some graphs showcasing the impact of this setting.
