Apart from the different LMT86 OPNs (LMT86 vs LMT86-Q1) do we have some P2P dropped-in alternatives for LMT86QDCKRQ1 ?
Apart from the mV/Deg C difference what would need to be taken into account to migrate to other LMT8x derivatives (LMT84-Q1 vs LMT84 vs LMT85-Q1 vs LMT85 vs LMT86-Q1 vs LMT86 vs LMT88 vs LMT89 vs LMT87-Q1 vs LMT87)?
Which one of those alternative would have better leadtime/availibility compare to LMT86?

Hi A,

TMP235-Q1 is recommended as a P2P drop-in alternative for the LMT8x family of parts. The TMP235 has a +10 mV/Deg C gain, so keeping that in mind I would start here.

The mV/Deg C gain is one thing to consider between the LMT8x family of devices, but also the lay out. Pins 1 and 5 of the SOT package option vary between being connected to either GND or VDD.

I am looking to replace the LMT86 with the TMP235 as well. The NC pins are no internal connections and could tie to VDD or GND? Thanks in advance.

Andy,

TMP235 NC pins can be tied to VDD or GND. The TMP235 will function as expected.
