Table 2 indicates that for larger output capacitance, smaller series resistance is required for stability. These seems counter-intuitive- can you please confirm this table is correct and why this relationship is as such?

Hi Antenna_Head,
Analog temp sensors have very limited current drive, and thus limited ability to perform line regulation. This table is correct, and it has to do with stability of the output and internal amplifier. It is expected to be unstable if these guidelines are not followed.
