I'm trying to read the 1843 sensor data using my own script for the detecting objects. Right now I have x, y position of the objects detected but the range profile information is in q9 format . How to use the q9 data format to get the range data? Is there any mathematical formula/logic that needs to be implemented or any work around for this?

Any help would be appreciated.
