IWR6843AOPEVM: IWR6843AOPEVM - Is not working after STOP button pressed from GUI

Dear Team,

During testing of the Vital sign demo (Industrial Toolbox 4.8), I found that When we press the START button its working fine when board is in a running state. When we press the STOP button, Data stops. But if we press the start button it's not starting again. Also in this case, if we close the GUI and start it again still we are not able to START the board.

Its showing as Data Port is open While I have not modified any thing as its running.

Can you please suggest to me the solution for this issue.?

Hello

In the past we have seen this on the windows machines that refuse relinquish the port ownership and requires an unplug/plug.

This demo is an as-is state and we are not actively improving/updating features on this.

1. Are you able to use the demo successfully in continuous mode.

2.If the stop needs to be used:- can you try the CLI equivalent command working vs the GUI button which shows the issues.

Hi Vaibhav,

When We start for the first time after Flashing it, it was working fine. But when you stopped it /Paused it or disconnected it once after that it's not working. We have to reflash it to get the data.

Hello

Are you saying after every 'stop' the only option is to reflash the binary?

That shouldnt be the case.

A POR should allow the restart/reworking of the image.
