TDC1000-C2000EVM: Pulse Amplitude decrease after a period of time.

Would like to check with your engineers.

I have recently use a TDC1000-C2000EVM kit to power my ceramic transducer.

I followed the user guide manual, installed the GUI and run everything as per default.

I have a y-connection on my sensor output pin to the ceramic transducer and into an analog input of NI DAQ.

However upon, powering up the start graph for TDC1000 to transmit a intermitent pulse, I noticed a drop in ampitude in the pulse.

Eventually after close to 3-4mins, the pulse has already flaten till close to 0.

Upon powercycle, it then reset again back to default. So this actually unable me to run continuiously for my experiment.

May I know any advice or anybody who may encounter such similar issue?

    Thanks for reaching out with your question.  I would recommend checking with the transducer manufacturer whether the device is capable of continuous pulsing, or what the max number of pulses for that transducer might be.  I expect you would find that your transducer might be overheating and becoming less efficient at generating ultrasonic bursts.  

    If you are able, try to increase the time between triggers, or reduce the burst count per cycle to see if reducing the stress on the transducer improves the read duration of your system.
