FDC2214EVM: Difference in raw code from FDC2214

Hi,

I have been working FDC2214 EVM for calculating capacitance change, I've been using it for measuring the moisture content of grains. So far now I have used EVM GUI for measurement. Now I'm trying to connect FDC2214 with Arduino via I2C, the results which I'm getting are bit different from EVM GUI. In EVM GUI the I'm getting Raw Code for CH0 as 33858153 but in Arduino I'm getting Raw Code as 15162045. I'm using https://github.com/zharijs/FDC2214 for interfacing.

Hello Rameez,

Are the register settings the same between the GUI and the Arduino implementation? Also, with the Arduino implementation, is the EVM still connected to the MSP portion or did you snap off the FDC portion?

Hi Justin,

The registers settings are same. And I haven't snapped FDC portion from MSP, instead I'm powering the FDC through Arduino via 3.3V & GND. I'm using the pins which are given on FDC EVM board.
