TMP75: Replace from TMP1075.

Hi team,

My customer wants to replace TMP1075 with TMP75.
I have some questions.

1 : What kind of reply will I get if I contact a register that does not exist in TMP75?
     They are considering whether the software of tmp1075 can be diverted.

2 : They are planning to set it to OS mode, but if R0 of the Configuration register is also set to 1, what mode will it be set to?

    Kengo - 

    Bit 15 of register 0x01 (TMP1075) and Bit 7 of register 0x01 (TMP75) are equivalent settings for one-shot mode. 

    Question back to you/your customer - what is the motivating factor to move from TMP1075 to TMP75? The TMP1075 has better accuracy, wider temp range, wider supply voltage and draws less current than TMP75.

    It is delivery trouble to move these devices.

    They are considering whether they can use the same software TMP1075 and TMP75.

    Kengo - 

    as with any I2C device, if there is command which is unrecognized, the device should NAK the request from the controller. 

    I answered the question about one shot mode in previous post.
