TMP75: Does it major Ambient Air or PCB temperature ?

We have a requirement on our motherboard to measure ambient and surface temperature at different points on the motherboard.

I don't get the clarity from the datasheet.

Also if it is capable to measure both then can you please point out how to achieve that ?

Yes, the TMP75 is capable of measuring both ambient and surface temperature. I would recommend using one device for PCB temperature monitoring and another for ambient temperature monitoring. Additionally, please refer to these application reports for design recommendations:
